Voting

Getting sick of hearing people moan about the current political system and politicians, yet go on to say they don’t intend to vote. If you don’t vote, if you don’t take part, then you get exactly the politicians you deserve. Don’t pretend that apathy is a statement that will make people listen - your silence on this only reinforces the belief in the minds of the corrupt that people don’t care.

I fail to see how people can be so dispassionate about the future of the country they live in at election time, yet moan constantly about it the rest of the year. Every 5 years or so, you can turn that moaning into something productive with no more than 10 minutes of your time. Get to it - no excuses, no ‘it won’t count’, none of that. You are the people, you have the power, use it or lose it.

That is the choice that people are presented with.
